Biffy Clyro have just been announced as special guests to Metallica for this summer’s Download Festival. The band will play on Saturday 9th June just before headliners Metallica take to the stage to perform The Black Album in full.

The band will play on Saturday 9th June just before headliners Metallica take to the stage to perform The Black Album in full. The Prodigy and Black Sabbath complete the weekends headline slots, with Chase & Status, YouMeAtSix, Soundgarden and Tenacious D all recently also added to bill.
