For almost three years now I've been touting Biffy to all of my friends, who never seem to get it or listen to the music. So when I found out they were going to be in Pittsburgh, nothing was going to stop me from going, even the lack of having someone to go with. While all the kiddos at the venue (I'm in my early 30's, most of these kids didn't even have a drinking band) were there to see Manchester Orchestra, I made a point to go early so I could be right at the front to see Biffy Clyro and left after their set. The set was as follows: That Golden Rule Living is a Problem Because Everything Dies Who's Got a Match? The Captain Many of Horror Bubbles Mountains All amazing songs, although all fairly new songs. Even though I was first introduced to Biffy with Puzzle, I love all of their music, old and new. Such an amazing band, both live and in the studio. I would have paid double what I did to see their 7 song set and hope to see them again. They sounded amazing, looked great, and really put on a show. I was right in front of Simon, and he probably thought I was a nut because I was singing with every song and didn't really care about the teenie-boppers around me who had no clue whatsoever. I love you guys. Listen to you all the time and keep finding new favorite songs. Thank you for coming to Pittsburgh because I thought I would have to travel to the UK to see you perform live. Still might because I want a longer set! Mon the Biff!
