ONLY REVOLUTIONS NOMINATED FOR MERCURY PRIZE

We are delighted to announce that Biffy’s latest album 'Only Revolutions' has been nominated as one of the twelve albums of the year in this year's Mercury Music Prize.

The award recognises UK albums of the year, regardless of sales, media hype and mainstream success and chooses artists from a range of genres. Previous winners of the award include the then underground Dizzee Rascal, Elbow and last year’s winner Speech Debelle.

"'It's an honour to be shortlisted for album of the year. There are some incredible records on the list and it is amazing to be amongst them and to represent the heavier end of the musical spectrum." - Simon Neil.

This year 'Only Revolutions' will go head to head with albums by early favourites XX, Dizzee Rascal, Paul Weller and Mumford and Sons amongst others. The Winner of the award will be announced at a ceremony on September 7th in London.
