Tickets go onsale for MTV Unplugged European Tour on Friday morning at 9am BST,

In order to keep tickets for the MTV Unplugged tour out of the hands of touts and in the hands of our fans, we have introduced a number of terms and conditions.

These measures include having names on tickets and also partnering with fan-to-fan ticket reseller Twickets for any fans who can’t make their show after buying tickets and gives a safe option for those fans who miss out on pre and general sale tickets.

  • There is a limit of 2 tickets per person, per credit card in the UK, Ireland & Germany and 4 tickets per person for all other dates. This limit will be strictly enforced.
  • A photo ID will be required to be presented by the lead booker upon arrival at the venue on the night of the show.
  • We reserve the right to cancel any ticket purchase made by any person whom we reasonably believe to be associated with any ticket broker or tout.
  • To enter the venue, each original purchaser and any person a
ccompanying them to the show must be present together on entrance to the venue. There are no exceptions to this.
  • Tickets cannot be resold except via reseller platform Twickets and only then at face value or lower (UK & Ireland Shows only). All tickets purchased through Twickets will require a Twickets purchase confirmation and ID of the lead booker to gain access to the show. Please note a Twickets transaction fee will be applied.
  • All ticket purchases are subject to the standard terms and conditions and Purchase Policy of our ticket partners, as well as these terms and conditions. In the event of any inconsistency, these terms and conditions will apply.

I am delighted for everyone that got tickets but gutted I missed out. I bought the album digitally and as a CD as a back up. There canít have been many tickets available on presale as it was gone straight away. Really gutted that I also missed out on the general sale - same thing again!
The most disappointing part is that they are on resale sites which I know the band will be gutted about.
Really glad some people are getting to go and I am sure some people will be able to afford the extortionate resale prices but it wonít be me unfortunately. Sounds like a few touts will be making a shit load of money off the back of the band which is uncalled for!

Not entirely sure your '2 ticket limit terms & conditions' made a blind bit of difference. While loyal fans are waiting in a queue for 1 measly minute to then be told tickets were unavailable, ticket touts are clapping them up and advertising them on viagogo.com and the likes for £500 and above. This is not on. Even when we pre order albums etc to get presale access, we are denied tickets all because some people want to make a quick buck. Shocking. I hope, however, that all the true fans out there who did manage to get tickets have a great night.

Not sure everyone buying the tickets for Birmingham got this memo! Tickets sold out almost instantly and on-sale for almost 10x original value :(

You're kidding me, presale for switzerland, taken from the ticketcorner page:
"A maximum of 10 tickets (Ticketcorner Live Club sales 2 tickets) per customer/credit card is allowed for this performance. Multiple orders will be deleted without notice."

Sold out in 10 minutes, people trying to re-sell them for 200CHF instead of 80CHF.
No, you have not enforced any kind of limit and it seems like the tickets are by no means personalized.
